1.1 Payment by cash, bank transfer, cheque, or bank card (excluding American Express) only.

1.2 A 20% deposit is required for installation work, stoves and fireplaces that we stock. Stoves and fireplaces ordered in by us from a third party will need to be paid for in full up front.

1.3 Deposits will be refundable in full, should you decide that you do not wish to proceed with the sale only if goods have not been ordered. If goods have been ordered there will be a restocking fee, delivery charge and any other related charges that are incurred in returning the item to the supplier.

1.4 On all orders where a deposit has been received the balance is to be paid within 14 days of completion of the work or on receipt of the goods.

1.5 All goods remain property of DKCS Ltd until the invoice is paid for in full.

1.6 If any legal action is needed to recover costs, you will be liable to pay the full outstanding balance plus interest, at the rate of 5% above the Bank of England base rate per month plus any expenses incurred during the collection of any monies owed. We reserve the right to remove all goods if the account remains unpaid.



2.1 Once a deposit is received and order confirmed we will advise an approximate installation or delivery date. Installation dates are given in good faith, however if we must cancel for reasons out of our control (e.g., weather conditions, late goods deliveries) we will rearrange an alternative date for as soon as possible.

2.2 You should take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety of any furnishings, carpets, sofas etc. against any disruption caused by the installation. We will not be held responsible for any damage to your property that is not secured and made safe from any works conducted. We will not be held responsible for any decoration being disturbed, marked, or damaged during the installation.

2.3 We will not be held responsible for fitting any carpets or flooring before or after the installation.

2.4 You will have any gas, water or electrical services running through the fireplace disconnected prior to us arriving on site where possible, if these are found during installation additional costs for the required engineer will be payable by you.

2.5 During the installation process we require electricity and water to be made available free of charge.

2.6 In the event of unforeseen problems either structural and/or on the removal of any existing fireplace, the opening of a chamber, or other instructed works we will need to adjust our estimate for additional works required to complete the original installation of products.

2.7 In the event of any additional works being required (e.g., unblocking chimneys, repairing mid feathers, replacing chimney pots) an additional hourly charge of £70.00 plus VAT will be added if it extends the installation time.

2.7 Every care is taken when works are carried out on the roof, however if the roof is in poor condition (ie. Loose ridge tiles, rotten battens, lose or delaminated slates or tiles) we cannot be held responsible for any further damage. Photographs will be taken before and after any work.

2.8 We are not responsible for any works carried out by a third party.



3.1 All images of products illustrated by means of product brochures, our website and/or links to out supplier websites should be regarded as “illustrative” only as details may be subject to change without prior notice due to manufacturers having an ongoing product development.

3.2 Dimensions provided by our suppliers should be regarded as nominal and as a guide only due to manufacturing tolerances.

3.3 Colours may vary slightly from those illustrated. As with all natural materials (ie. timber, granite, slate, marble) minor markings and unusual grain patterns may be present. These are not defects but part of the natural character of the piece.

3.4 Stove warranties usually exclude the naturally wearing consumable parts of the stove such as glass, fire ropes, fire bricks, grates, baffles, and log retainers.



4.1 All estimates are valid for 30 days after which they may need to be revised to account for changes in costs.

4.2 By asking us to commence works you are agreeing to our estimate, this must be in writing or via email. Acceptance of our estimates is also acceptance of our terms and conditions.


5.1 We always endeavour to provide the best service and products for our customers. However, on rare occasions, we recognise that there may be a time where customers may not be completely satisfied. To ensure that we can put things right as soon as we can please contact us via email on and we will respond promptly to ensure complete satisfaction.
